Eunice Johnfroe

Eunice "Froe" Johnfroe, 76, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, 
died at 5:48 p.m. May 21, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass 
of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by his wife of more than 59 years, Leodia Guidry Johnfroe; sons 
and daughters-in-law, Gerald Sr. and Cheyenne Johnfroe, Donald Sr. and Marinda 
Johnfroe; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Larry Gaspard, Jennifer 
Johnfroe, Patty and Ben Griffin; brothers, Calvin and Ulysse Johnfroe; sisters, 
Letucia Adams, Citolia Duet, Sedonia Duet, Lillian Terrebonne and Beatrice Duet; 
12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ludwig and Donatile Guidry Johnfroe; 
and great-grandchild Avia Guidry.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Holy Name 
Society. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 427.

He enjoyed being with his children, playing with his grandchildren and opening 
oysters. He was loved by all his family.
