Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He is survived by his son, Freddie Reno Jr. of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter, Gwen Cruse of Houma; brother, Blanchard Reno of Monroe; sister, Shirley Osborne of Beaumont, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Holtzclaw Reno; parents, Floyd and Rose Mae Knight Reno; brothers, W.H. Reno, Millard "Buddy" Reno and Billy G. Reno; and sister, Marjorie Davis. He was a retired oilfield diesel mechanic with Zapata. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
