Hollis Bynum Jr.

Hollis "Jigger" Bynum Jr., 57, a native of New Orleans and resident of Bayou 
Gauche, died May 23, 2005.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home 
in Raceland. A religious service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at the funeral 
home.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Blades Bynum; son Duston John Bynum; 
daughters Elizabeth Benson, Holly Kirk and Maggie Bynum; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis Bynum Sr. and Verda Lee Byrd 
Bynum Raines; and stepfather C.M. Raines.

He was a past president of Live Oak Fire Department in Waggaman and a member of 
the Bayou Gauche Fire Department.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
