Leslie Alexius

Leslie Perez Alexius, 61, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 
10:30 a.m. May 1, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A 
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Wednesday, with burial at 
St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Ruby Lee Roby Perez of Houma; son, Dr. Jay 
Clement Alexius Jr. of New Orleans; daughter, Caroline Alexius Zyroll of 
Houston; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Lester Perez.

She was a teacher at Evergreen School.

She was a former instructor at Nicholls State University and a 1994 graduate of 
NSU.

She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
