Marietta Ludlow

Marietta "Mary" Ludlow, 72, a native of Marshall County, Iowa and resident of 
Raceland, died at 8:55 a.m. May 18, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Hilary of 
Poitiers Catholic Church in Mathews, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Michael "Mike" Jenkins; daughters, Jolen Pech, 
Deborah Itschner and Cheryl Lyons; brothers, Eugene, Howard and Lloyd Ludlow; 
sister, Clarice Alsbaugh; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Ransom and Mildred Sumpter 
Ludlow; daughter, Michele Diane Jenkins; grandchildren, Corie Ann Robichaux and 
Brian Scott Fansler; and great-grandchildren, Mark Anthony LeBlanc Jr.

She was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
