Myriel Doucet

Myriel Ann Doucet, 53, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died 
at 5 p.m. April 28, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lorey D. and Scott Boura, Nona 
R. and David Doucet; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don, James "Bozo" and Pam 
Doucet, Rod and Debra Doucet; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Steve 
Gisclair; grandchildren, Scotty, Taylor and Laney Boura and David and Mia 
Cheramie; nieces, Meghan and Emily Doucet; nephews, Aric and Casey Gisclair and 
Michael and Adam Doucet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Marita Cheramie Doucet; 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Levy Cheramie, Mr. and Mrs. Etienne Doucet; and 
sister, Rita Doucet.

She enjoyed playing bingo and video poker. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements.
