Nakia Bernard

Nakia Prince Bernard, 19, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died at 5:45 May 12, 2005.

Visitation will 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Beacon Light Baptist Church in Houma.

The religious service will be held at 11 a.m Saturday at the church. Burial will 
be at the St. Paul Baptist church cemetery in Schriever.

She is survived by her husband, Zawara L. Bernard of Houma; parents, Earlesy III 
and Sandra Prince of Thibodaux; son, Devin Z. Bernard of Houma; sister, Martika 
M. Prince of Thibodaux; grandparents, Earsley Prince Jr., of Gibson, and 
Geraldine Collins of Thibodaux.

She was a member of Beacon Light Baptist Church. Her hobbies included shopping, 
watching movies, and playing video games. She was employed by Pizza Hut.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
