Odile Doucet

Odile D. Doucet, 80, a native of Lockport and resident of Galliano, died at 1:12 
p.m. May 14, 2005.

Visitation will be 4 to 10 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in 
Lockport.

She is survived by her daughters, Drena G. Terrebonne, Glinda G. Guidry, Shelley 
Doucet Hebert and Gertie G. Cheramie; stepson, Dennis Doucet Sr.; brother, O.B. 
"Nit" Dufrene; sister, Louise D. Grabert; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Gisclair; second husband, 
Clarence Doucet; parents, Ulyesse and Augustine Hartman Dufrene; brothers, 
Gillis, Dennis and Sewell Dufrene; sisters, Eulcia "Cia" Cheramie, Justillia 
"Mim" Chiasson, Felicia "Bill" Dufren, Viola "Vie" Dominique and Clothile 
Dufrene.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
