Odit Gautreaux						[Photo]

Odit McElroy "Dee" Gautreaux, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Gibson, died May 7, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary Church, 
with burial in the church mausoleum.

She is survived by her sons, Roland Jr., Gene, Glenn and Jude Gautreaux; 
daughters, Virginia Landry, Agnes Puebla, Kathy Landry, Susan Wunstell, and 
Diane Gordon; brothers, Earl and Felix McElroy; 35 grandchildren; and 41 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Paul Gautreaux Sr.; parents, 
Victor and Ophelia Bonvillian McElroy, an infant son; brothers, Carson and 
Victor "V.J." McElroy; and sister, Ruby LeBoeuf.

She was a parishioner of St. Mary and St. Anthony Church of Bayou Black.
