He is survived by three daughters, Eugenie Breaux of Hanceville, Ala., Sr. Mary Catherine Vicar of Hanceville and Ann Breaux Calderera of Thibodaux; one son, Charles Breaux Jr. of Labadieville; one brother, Dr. Edgar Breaux Jr. of Lafayette; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Vicknair Breaux; his parents, Edgar Paul Sr. and Anna Louise Adolph Breaux; two brothers, Dr. Ray Breaux and Rodney Breaux; four sisters, Lucille Breaux, Anna Louise Burns, Alma Cox and Inez Burns. He was employed by the Louisiana Department of Highways, Supreme Sugar Refinery as assistant manager and electrical engineer, insurance agent and had numerous businesses in the area. She was a kind and simple lady that loved life and people. She will always be remembered as a very giving lady that gave of her talents and of her time to her church, community, friends and family. She was a former Girl Scout assistant, a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea and the Hephaestus Mothers Club. She was also a member of the St. Mary A.A.R.P. where she along with her husband were recognized as citizens of the month in October of 1992. Her hobbies include cooking and collecting recipes and cookbooks. She along with her husband were inducted into the Central Catholic High School Hall of Fame in 1981. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way.
