He became an avid and accomplished golfer while being a member of Houma and Ellendale Country Clubs. His accomplishments included many golfing awards. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be at noon Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by three sons, Ernest Kevin Plaisance, Ernest Anthony Plaisance Jr. and Shane Michael Plaisance; three daughters, Monica Lynn Nelson, Donna P. Savoie and Brenda Lee Plaisance; three brothers, Raymond, Nolan and Elton Plaisance; one sister, Evolia Curole; nine grandchildren; and one great- grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Ruth Plaisance; his parents, Anaclet and Marie G. Plaisance; and one brother, Forest Plaisance. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Williams Sr. and Helen Dyer Williams; and two brothers, Edward and Jerome Williams. He was a member of the NAACP, AARP and NRA.
