She will be remembered by her family and friends and in her community for the endless caring and sharing of her time, energy and great cooking as she visited the ill and elderly. She walked a mile every day, even at 87 years, and promoted its healing qualities to everyone she knew. Her grandchildren and great- grandchildren lovingly called her "Granny". She was loved dearly and respected for her years of knowledge, a listening ear and a big heart. As she said her good-byes, she told everyone that she had lived a full and happy life and prayed that each of them would carry on what she had started. She was proud of the choices she made and was so proud of her children and their families. She was at peace and ready to go home to the Lord. She was a loving and devoted wife, a nourishing and supportive mother, a fun- loving grandmother and great-grandmother, a caring sister and a great friend. She will be missed. She was a homemaker who loved being around her family and friends and was a devout Catholic. She collected dolls and made doll clothes for many years, as well as gardening and loving to tend to her flowers. She loved tapping her foot to Cajun music at the Terrebonne Cajun Heritage Museum. Her home was always open to her family and friends to share a fresh pot of coffee and a warm hearty laugh. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Houma-Lou Doll Club, Doll Lovers Club and Cajun Music French Club. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
