A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at United Memorial Methodist Church in Mathews, with a private burial in Lawton at a later date. He is survived by two daughters, Janet Hingle and husband, Billy, and Nancy Barton and husband, Michael; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavena Allen Jester; his parents, Murray L. and Bessie Shelp Jester; and one brother, Harold Jester.
