White Catholic High School Mothers' Club. She was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Daughters, Court Anna Maria, and enjoyed numerous other religious affiliations. She was supposed to relinquish her crown at the end of her reign but instead graciously wore it until her death. She was known as "Queen Norma" at Maison de Lafayette and as "the Grand Dame" in Cut off where she resided until 1998. She lived life to the fullest with her great sense of humor. She loved abundantly in her own special way. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:55 a.m. Monday at Plymouth Rock Baptist Church. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Deweyville Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Hannah Ringold Lewis of Houma; three daughters, Barbar a Lewis Moore, Gracie Lewis Verrett and husband, Bishop Arthur Verrett, and Felton Lewis Taylor, all of Houma; ten grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julia O. Johnson and Theodore Lewis; and his grandparents, Tom Johnson, Jane T. Robinson, Theodore Lewis and Annie Hymel. He was a World War II veteran, and a retired Terrebonne Parish Government worker.
