She lived in Alaska for 48 years. She was a member of the Pioneers of Alaska and the Palmer Lions Club. She organized and managed the Gift Shop at the Palmer Senior Center. She was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was involved in the genealogy of her ancestors, spending many years preparing this information in book form for her family.
