She was a devoted mother of six and wife of 60 years deeply loved and adored by her recently departed husband. She celebrated life with her family. She enjoyed vacationing, playing cards, bingo and dancing. She and her husband were incredible dancers. She enjoyed her final Tennessee waltz with her husband on his 80th birthday in 2006, surrounded by family and friends. She was an 18-year veteran in the war against cancer. She battled two different types of cancer enemies with courage and determination. Rarely did she complain and never did she want pity. She inevitably succumbed to the battle peacefully in her home.
