He possessed all the qualities that most people aspire to but none of the vices, unless giving 150 percent to get the job done is considered a vice. Though only 54, he had always felt that he had lived a very full and satisfying life. He had been blessed to find his soul mate at the tender age of 14. He had also enjoyed the love and respect of family and friends and had experienced that special love of being a grandparent. Except for "slowing down" and retiring to a cabin in Montana, he had accomplished everything he had hoped for in this life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Angel Flight South Central. Dan felt both privileged and honored to be a member of this charitable organization. Angel Flight contacts private pilots who provide free air transportation for those patients whose medical needs require traveling long distances for specialized health care. =========================== Published: Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Drew Pellegrin Drew James Pellegrin, 43, a native of Galliano and resident of Larose, died at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008.
