Kenneth Paul Boura, 36, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, 
March 29, at 11:04 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Nichole Lord Boura; parents, Warren J. and Thelma 
Bernard Boura; son, Nicholas Lord Boura; brothers, Clint Rainwater and John 
Wayne Boura; and sisters, Connie Watson, Donna Billiot, Monica Boura, Melinda 
Charpentier and Melissa Quall.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Inez Boura and Ulysse 
and Stella Bernard; and his mother-in-law.

He was parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Cut Off.

The funeral service was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at 
Community Bible Cemetery in Cut Off.

Albert Dardar Sr., 82, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of 
Pointe-Aux-Chenes, died Monday, March 30.

He is survived by his son, Albert Dardar Jr. and wife Elizabeth; daughters, 
Irene Verdin and husband Cherry, and Suzanne Rodrigue and husband Johnny; 
brothers, Whitney, Edward and Edwin Dardar, and Antoine and Edwin Billiot; 
sister, Ana Mae Billiot; step-daughter, Gwendolyn Verdin; 15 grandchildren; 25 
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Louise Fitch Dardar; 
brothers, Herman, Nolan, Gilbert Dardar and Junius Billiot; sisters, Romona 
Ambrose, Albay LeBouef and Arline Dardar; and great-grandchild, Kobie Verdin.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
Thursday, April 2, at Live Oak Baptist Church in Point-Aux-Chenes. A religious 
service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial at St. Charles 
Borromeo Cemetery in Pointe-Aux-Chenes.

Hursy J. Adams

Hursy J. Adams, 83, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Tuesday, March 
31, at 8:25 p.m.

He is survived by his son, Billy Adams; daughters, Pat Adams Guidry and husband 
Dale, Jeanie Adams Armand and husband Kenneth and Joanette Adams Terrebonne and 
husband Peter; sister, Rita Ledet; five grandchildren; and nine great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eusebe and Edna C. Adams; brothers, 
Joseph Adams and Delvin Adams; and sister, Viola Toups.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion 
and VFW. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, April 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Cut Off with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Hilda L. Anderson, 85, a native and resident of Schriever, La., died Sunday, 
March 29, in Glendale, Ca., at 10:12 a.m.

She is survived by her son, Marvin Anderson Jr.; daughter Marva Anderson 
Brannum; step-daughters, Mary Ann Wynn and Marvie Norfor; step-son, Louis 
Anderson; granddaughter, Toi Anderson; and grandson, Toren Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Livas Sr. and Eva Rounds Livas; 
brother, Henry Livas Jr.; and sister, Lillie Mae Franklin.

She was a retired teacher with the Terrebonne Parish School Board and was a 
past secretary at Magnolia United Methodist Church. She was a member of Rebecca 
Chapter #23 O.E.S. and a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church

Funeral services were Saturday, April 4, at Magnolia United Methodist Church on 
Johnson Ridge with burial at Livas Cemetery.

William "Bill" Paul Chaisson Sr., 81, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and a 
resident of Houma, La., died Friday, April 3, at 7 a.m.

He is survived by his sons, Charles, Autry, Carlton, Timothy and Joseph 
Chaisson; daughters, Sheila Theriot, Patricia Guidry, Marjorie Zeringue, Wenona 
Lirette, Angela Maronge and Anna Bradford; 32 grandchildren; and 38 great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elverda Boudreaux Chaisson; parents, 
Joseph A. and Wenona Boudreaux Chaisson; sons, William Jr. and Chester 
Chaisson; brothers, Lindward, Joseph "J.C.", Bobbie, and Charles Chaisson; and 
sister, Marjorie Chaisson.

Sinclair "Kit" Howard Crenshaw, 54, a native and resident of Larose, La., died 
Thursday, April 2.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Lynn Wiley Crenshaw; father, Wayne Henley 
Crenshaw; step-mother, Emma C. Crenshaw; daughters, Cara Niederhofer and 
husband John, and Casie Crenshaw; brother, William Crenshaw M.D. and wife 
Patsy; sister, Jayne Guidry and husband Marlon; and step-sister, Debbie C. 
Cheramie.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Titus Crenshaw.

He was the former president of the Bayou Region Chamber of Commerce and a 
member of the Board of Directors of SJI, Mobiletel and LATELCO. He was a former 
business educator at Nicholls State University. He enjoyed reading, astrology, 
golfing and was an avid LSU fan. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary 
Catholic Church in Larose.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action 
Network.

retired bus driver and custodian for the Terrebonne Parish School Board. He was 
a deputy custodian for the voting machines and was a retired welder and 
trawler.

Eula Moreau LeBlanc, 95, a native of Arnaudville, and a resident of Houma, La., 
died peacefully at her residence and went to be with the Lord Friday April 3, 
at 5:50 a.m.

She is survived by her son, Dalton Andrew LeBlanc Jr. and wife Marie Clement 
LeBlanc of Houma; daughter, Vickie Joy LeBlanc King of Lafayette, La.; 
grandchildren, Kellie Suzanne Letsos and husband James Letsos of Houston, Tx., 
Troy C. Bonvillain and wife Barbara of Denver, Co., Nicole Arnold and husband 
Preston Arnold of Geismar, La., Adrienne Maginnis and husband John of 
Prairieville, La., Carter Andrew LeBlanc and wife Kate LeBlanc of Prairieville, 
and Beau Bourgeois and Brooke Bourgeois of Houma; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Andrew LeBlanc Sr.; parents, 
Joseph Philoclese Moreau and Eugenie Hargroder Moreau; brothers, Francis Regis 
Moreau and Alexis Moreau; sisters, Marie Moreau Guidroz, Linda Moreau Manuel 
and Mathilde Moreau Guidry; and grandson, Beau Bryant Bonvillain.

She was a homemaker and a successful business woman managing her own apartment 
complex since 1966. She was a devoted mother. She taught adult education for a 
short time, enrolled in business college and later worked at the Court House of 
Opelousas, La. While there she met and married the love of her life Dalton 
Andrew LeBlanc Sr. The life insurance business brought them to Houma where they 
were to stay a mere six months, but made it their home for 65 years. She was a 
parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church

and Financial Advisors or Annunziata Catholic Church.

The funeral was Saturday, April 4, at Annunziata Catholic Church with burial at

She loved her family, playing cards, loved the New Orleans Saints and LSU

W. Lucien Simpson M.D.

W. Lucien Simpson, M.D., 86, passed away at St. Anne General Hospital Thursday, 
April 2, with his family at his side.

Dr. Simpson is survived by his wife, Essie Bascle Simpson; his children and 
their spouses, William L. (Bill) and Kay H. Simpson, A. Bruce and Patty G. 
Simpson, Lynn (Bitsy) and Danny Muhs, T. Justin and Maria M. Simpson, E. 
Gregory and Camile G. Simpson; brother, R. Winfred Simpson; grandchildren, 
Brian and Jarred Simpson, Catherine and Sarah Simpson, Amelia Muhs, Brandon, 
Jennifer and Courtney Simpson, and Collin and Hope Simpson; and step-children, 
Elmo J. Bascle, Jeanette Bascle Bouvier and Ira A. Bascle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (Lynn) Rivet Simpson and their 
son, Michael; parents, Roy and Katie Simpson; and brother, Hugh Simpson.

Dr. Simpson served the Lockport and Bayou Lafourche communities through his 
medical practice from 1949 through his retirement in 1996 as well as his 
continued service on the Board of Directors of St. Anne General Hospital until 
his death. Through the years, he also served his communities through various 
civic and medical organizations, including the Lion's Club, the Lockport 
Volunteer Fire Department, the American Legion, the Louisiana Chapter of the 
American Academy of Family Physicians, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the 
Lafourche Parish Medical Society and the New Orleans Area Bayou-River Health 
Systems Agency Inc. He was the last surviving founder of St. Anne General 
Hospital. He also served his country as a medical officer in the U.S. Army for 
two tours of duty. He was a man of kindness and wisdom who instilled serenity 
in all he served. Dr. Simpson was most proud of his family and community 
service. One of his final thoughts was his joy of serving this community and 
the love that the community bestowed upon him. Dr. Simpson considered himself 
blessed to have lived such a full and wonderful life. The family extends their 
heartfelt appreciation to the staff of St. Anne General Hospital for their 
loving care of Dr. Simpson and their support of his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.

The funeral service was held Saturday, April 4, at Holy Savior Catholic Church 
in Lockport, La., with interment at Holy Savior Mausoleum.

Wednesday, March 25.

She is survived by her common law husband, Alvin Monroe of Thibodaux; sisters, 
Betty Van Buren of Thibodaux, Henrietta Parker of Opelousas, La., and Shirley

granddaughter, Francis "Frannie" Hebert.

He worked for Westfield Plantation from 1932 to 1935, and Jules Borne 
Blacksmith Shop from 1935 to 1941. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 
1945 as a tool maker, motor vehicle mechanic and motor pool sergeant. His unit 
served in North Africa, Italy and France and he received a Purple Heart for an 
injury he received in a combat zone. After he returned home, he worked for 
Thomson Machinery Company from 1946 to 1962, WHC Inc, Mazarac Shipyard and 
McDermott Inc. from 1962 to 1963, and Cameco Industries from 1964 to 1982. 
After his retirement he stayed active with a commercial fishing venture and 
specialty tool fabrication. From 1986 to 2006, he dedicated his life to caring 
for his ailing wife until her death. He was a member of the VFW Thibodaux 
Memorial Post 5097. He was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church

Mrs. Douglas "Bobbie" Keller, 83, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 12.

Bobbie, a resident of Lafayette, La., and formerly of Houma, La., was born July 
29th, 1925 in Ocilla, Ga., to Joseph Bryant and Ruby Paulk Bryant Spell. Bobbie 
was married to the late Douglas A. Keller, DDS. Bobbie lived in Houma until 
moving to Lafayette seven years ago.

She is survived by her son, Douglas R. Keller and wife Gloria of Lafayette; 
daughter, Margaret Keller Broussard and husband Emile of Abbeville, La.; 
grandchildren, Courtney Keller Cline and husband Parrish, Caroline Broussard 
and Andrew Broussard; and great-grandchildren, Rowan Keller Cline and Adriana 
Michel Cline.

She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas A. Keller, DDS; son, David G. 
Keller, DDS; and sister, Jimmy Holland Slaughter.

While raising her family in Houma, Bobbie was active in Hyacinthians Ladies 
Carnival Club, her homemaker's club, and St. Francis de Sales Church Parish. 
Bobbie enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family, friends and 
neighborhood coffee group.

Clark Allen Pritchard, born June 19, 1934, a resident of Sunnyvale, Tx., and a 
former resident of Houma, La., joined his Lord in Heaven Thursday, April 16, at 
11:55 a.m.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Routier Pritchard; children, 
Patricia and husband Chug, Brian and wife Cheri, Wayne and wife Donna, and 
Craig; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Charlotte Searing 
Pritchard of Springfield, Mi.; brother Bud Pritchard; and sister, Gloria Wood.

Clark was a devout Catholic and a loving and caring husband and father who gave 
unselfishly to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all whose 
lives he touched. He truly lived what he believed that life was good.

He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church and a longtime

the U.S. Army.

Leblanc; and niece, Tyra Marae Olivier.

She also went by the name Debbie to those who were close to her. She developed 
a wit and charm that formed her personality and was funny at times. After 
graduating high school, she married Billy Stevens. They brought two children 
into this world - Tammy and Charity. She was known as a very kind, gentle 
person, being considerate of others.

She was known as a "loving Nana" to her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them 
to the library. Her kids and grandkids became her world. She loved her family, 
friends and always held a closeness for them in her heart. She enjoyed family 
gatherings, cooking and "loved good food." She was a Jehovah's Witness. Jehovah 
God was the biggest part of her life. She always did her best to serve him.

and great-grandmother. A best friend to all who knew her, she will be truly 
missed by her family and many friends. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette 
Catholic Church.

Circle of Roses for her many years of service. She was a retired Deputy 
Registrar of Voters for Terrebonne Parish. She was a member of St. Matthews 
Episcopal Church and a lifetime member of the PTA.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Falgoust Scioneaux; son, Raymond Joseph

He entered the fullness of life on April 20, 2009, in his home due to 
complications from lung cancer. He was born in Vacherie and lived in Harvey for 
35 years and resided in Chackbay for the past 3 years. He served the U.S. Army 
from 1966-1968 and was deployed to Vietnam during that time. He was retired 
from Folger's Coffee Company.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. James Ellis and staff and the 
staff of St. Joseph Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary Fazzio Duthu and Luke Duthu;

Duthu; and nephew, Luke Brunet.

She was employed as a bookkeeper at Global Energy Warehouse, Inc. She was a 
parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she began as a Lector and 
Eucahristic Minister. She also started, along with Janet Bergeron and Eurlie 
Williams, the Youth Ministry at Holy Rosary. In 1989, her best friend Vickie 
Chaisson joined the ministry, and together they gave their time and wisdom to 
the young people of the parish.

Vicky is Rita's closest and dearest friend and has selflessly given of herself 
as a caregiver to Rita during her illness over the last 20 years. She played a 
primary role in the history of integration of Terrebonne Parish Schools, being 
the first Native American woman to attend and graduate from previously all-
white South Terrebonne High School in 1965. Howard and Rita were also active in 
the fight for Native American civil rights, helping to organize the Houma 
Alliance in the mid-seventies. Their efforts led to state recognition of the 
United Houma Nation in 1977. Rita will be sadly missed by her family and many 
friends.

friend, pediatrician, and retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, passed away at 
home in Thibodaux Wednesday, April 22.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Ellender Rabalais; sons, M. Scott Rabalais and 
wife Joy, and Sean Rabalais and wife Melissa of Lafayette, La.; brother, 
Raphael J. Rabalais and wife Paula of New Orleans, La.; sisters, Juanita 
LeBlanc and husband Bruce of Gonzales, La., and Dorothy "Dot" Landry and 
husband Alfred of Thibodaux; grandchildren, Landon, Morgan, and Jocelyn 
Rabalais; and numerous relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Monique Katrine and Jeanne Nicole 
Rabalais; and parents, Raphael J. and Erexine B. Rabalais.

He was a graduate of Jesuit High School, Loyola University, and LSU Medical 
School in New Orleans. He practiced pediatrics from 1974 to 1999 in Thibodaux 
and Houma, La., before joining West Jefferson Medical Center Pediatric ER. He 
will be deeply missed.
