Carol Ann LeBlanc Domangue, 69, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died 
Wednesday, April 29.

She is survived by her son, Al Domangue and wife Connie; daughter, Debbie 
Domangue; grandchildren, Brandy Domangue, Cherish Domangue, Adriana Domangue, 
Lindsay Smith and Nicole Smith; great-grandchildren, Aidyn Boudreaux and Mia 
Bartholomew; nephews Ricky and Keith LeBlanc; and former daughter-in-law, Vicky 
McCary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elphage and Camillia LeBlanc; and 
sister, Elsie LeBlanc.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at St. John the Evangelist 
in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Philomena Cemetery in 
Labadieville, La.

Olivia Evans, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, 
La., died Saturday, April 25.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffery (Felicia) Williams and Edward White of 
Houma; brothers, Huey (Doretha) White of Chauvin, La., Henry "Boo" (Jeanette) 
White and Nathaniel (Eva) White, both of Houma; sisters, Onida Jones of Houma 
and Clyde Washington of Los Angeles, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olivia and Rev. Nathaniel White Sr.; 
daughter, Odeth B. Lohr; brother, Clarence Hawkins; sisters, Leontine White 
Scoby and Odeth Hawkins; and grandparents, Daniel White and Irene Picou White, 
and Louis Williams and Sarah S. Williams.

She was Baptist.

Visitation will at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Greater St. Matthews 
Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at New Rising 
Sun Baptist Church Cemetery.

Reggie Augustin Hebert, 82, a native Montegut, La., and a resident of Houma, 
La., died Thursday, April 30, 12:30 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Hebert; son, Reggie A. Hebert of Prairieville, 
La.; daughter, Rhonda A. Hebert of Destrehan, La.; step-son, Joey Rodrigue; 
sisters, Ruby and husband Weldon Savoie of Bourg, La., Norma Wilson of Houma, 
and Coralie and husband Wallace Ellender of Bourg; grandchildren, Reggie "Alex" 
Hebert, Amber Hebert, Beau Brister, Rae Robertson, Bridgette Myers Dupre and 
Travis Myers; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Paul Hebert and Hazel Anne 
Blanchard Hebert; brother, Luby "Bobby" Hebert; and brother-in-law, Frank 
Wilson.

He was employed with Texaco for 39 years and was a member of the Texaco Club. He 
was a volunteer fireman, the head of the CYO in Montegut, a teacher in Montegut 
and a member of the American Legion in Montegut. He was a parishioner of St. 
Bernadette Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday May 3, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 
a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday May 4, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass of 
Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with burial at St. 
Francis Cemetery #2.

Druby J. Ledet, 85, a native of Montegut, La., and a resident of Houma, La., 
died Wednesday, April 29.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Yvonne Henry Ledet; son, Kenneth 
Ledet and wife Hazel Ledet; daughters, Eurlie Ledet Williams and husband Bobby, 
Gale Ledet and Cathy Kohmann; brother, Gerald Ledet and wife Nell of Chauvin, 
La.; grandchildren, Dena Williams Szaroleta and husband Mike, Michelle Williams 
Richard and husband Brian, Dr. Nicole Williams McKee and husband Christian, Lisa 
Lirette Landry and companion, Chris S. Gehring, Troy Lirette and companion 
Melissa Furr, Lee Kohmann and companion Misty Marcel and Jennifer Kohmann and 
fiance' Mauricio Toscano; and very special great-grandchildren, Sarah Bourque, 
Emily Richard, Malorie Lirette, Mylah Lirette, Kari Landry, Matthew Kohmann, 
Jacob McKee and Olivia McKee.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Ledet Lirette; parents, Willis 
and Olivia Dupre Ledet; sisters, Thelma Trahan and Rosemary Portier; and 
brothers, Albert Ledet, Ragis Ledet and Remy Ledet.

He worked for 35 years for Exxon Oil Company and retired as a field 
superintendent. He and his wife Yvonne spent the early years of their retirement 
traveling in their motor home with the Exxon Retirees Travel Club and with the 
Cruisin' Cajuns. In his later retirement years, his whole time and devotion were 
to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were his 
pride and joy. He will be sadly missed by his family and the many lives he 
touched; from the pulmonary rehab staff to the fourth floor nursing staff at 
TGMC and his coffee buddies at Annunziata Catholic Church. He was a long-
standing member of the Knights of Columbus and a former usher, devoted church 
member and supporter.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Annunziata Capital Campaign.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Annunziata Catholic 
Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Holy Rosary 
Cemetery.

Eric Rodrigue and wife, Kelly, Connie G. Broom and husband, Mark, Wendy G. 
Adams, Robert Guidry Jr. and wife, Tiffany, Ann-Celeste B. St. Amant and 
husband, Timothy, and Kade Bourg; 16 great-grandchildren, Rochelle, Matthew, 
Carlie, Sarah, Lauren, Justin, Edward, Ericka, Hannah, Channing, Kellie,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Joseph "Chunk" Guidry; her 
parents, Amedeo and Clarisse Duplantis Bourg; one daughter, Betty Jane Guidry; 
one son, Robert Guidry Sr.; one son-in-law, Lionel Rodrigue; one brother, Allen 
Bourg; four sisters, Ida B. Authement, Ruth B. Authement, Justine B. Boquet and 
Rose Bourg; and six step-children, Louis Guidry Jr., Lottie B. Bowman, Curtis 
Guidry, Hayes Guidry, Arlen Guidry, and Myrl G. James.

Cecilia was a parishioner of St. Frances de Sales Co-cathedral and was a devoted 
Catholic. She was a beautiful example of a Christian woman to all who knew her. 
She lived a simple life in service of others. She enjoyed spending time with 
family, gardening, sewing, crocheting, and making and praying the rosary. She 
was a retired employee of TARC who loved working and caring for special-needs 
children. She will be dearly remembered and greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 
a.m. to funeral time Tuesday, May 5, at St. Frances de Sales Co-cathedral. Mass

Boudreaux and husband Dalton Boudreaux; brother, Wilbert Porche; sister, Enola 
Voisin; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Porche and Mary Eunice Babin 
Porche; daughters, Pamela Porche and Wanda Porche; brother, Nolan Porche; and 
sister, Doris Domangue.

Enos was member of the St. Bernadette Council Knights of Columbus, the VFW, 
serviced in World War II as a Corporal in the Army, a Eucharistic Minister and 
usher at St. Bernadette, and worked for Brown Maintenance and retired at age 79.

Visitation is Monday, May 4, from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Falgout Funeral 
Home. Mass of of Christian Burial will be at 3p.m. Monday at St. Bernadette with 
burial at St. Francis II Mausoleum.

James "J.B" S. Butler, 64, a native of Pleasant Hill, La., and a resident of 
Houma, La., died peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer 
for five years, Sunday, May 3, at 11:25 a.m.

He is survived by his sons, James R. Butler and wife Regina Butler, and Sean 
Butler; daughter, Sandra Butler; brother, Frank Butler of Ukon, Okla.; sister, 
Freda and husband Mike Walker of Toledo Bend; and grandchildren, Zachary Butler, 
Zane Butler, Lacie Butler, Seth Butler, Samantha Butler and Shelby Butler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leslie Butler; parents, U.B. Butler and 
Marie Raburn Butler; and grandparents, Al and Annie Butler.

He was a superintendent for J. Ray McDermott for 44 years. He was an avid 
fishermen and NASCAR fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Nelson M. Jolet; parents,

A. Doiron; and grandchildren, Michael David and Keith Nelson.

Immense debt of gratitude to Donnie Thibodaux who saw to the well-being and 
health of his mother when she became housebound. Living in Texas made it 
difficult to manage his mother's monetary and health concerns so Donnie stepped 
in and made her solitary life one of great content. Her sitters were Joyce 
Authement Sue Johnson and Mandy Brown.

She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and a homemaker.

Conner; sister, Marie Gaudet; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 
step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Acosta Trosclair; parents, Gracien 
Trosclair and Marie Clement Trosclair; brother, William Trosclair; sisters, Nora 
Shaw, Anna Mae Boutte and Velma Lagarde; grandchild, Trina Boudreaux; great-
grandchildren, Parker Trosclair and Austin Roberts; and step-grandchild, Roxie

Louis was born January 24, 1922 in Thibodaux and lived in the St. John Community 
where he was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church and a member of the St. 
John's Men's Club. He graduated from LT School in Thibodaux and attended 
Louisiana State University. He had a masonry construction background, worked at 
Supreme Sugars, the Lafourche Parish School Board, the City of Thibodaux and was

three at a time, to support his large family. Louis was a member of the 
country's greatest generation, serving in the military in World War II and was a 
prisoner of war for nine months. He was in the 389 Bomb Group 8 AF and received 
several medals and distinguished awards. He was a lifetime honorary member of 
the V.F.W. Louis loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and especially camping 
with his family and friends. He enjoyed trawling and popierring for shrimp. He 
loved to eat and cook for his large family and friends at church. He also 
enjoyed playing cards with his buddies on Thursday evenings. He will be greatly 
missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and many 
dear friends.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at Thibodaux Funeral Home 
and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, May 11, at St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 
will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with burial at church cemetery. Military

friend Jerome.

and despite being ill for several years, loved life. She was a retired office 
manager for the State of Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles. Until her 
health became an issue, she was an active member of the Bayou Blue Senior 
Citizens Group, where she served as member of the Board of Directors and also 
secretary.

Lakey; three granddaughters, Corey Jean Marberry and Sue and Samantha Marberry;

He was a retired truck driver for over 60 years and loved gardening. He was an 
avid auto racing fan and a collector of depression glass. A special thanks to

Care Facility, and Chateau Terrebonne Nursing Home for all the care and patience 
given to Mr. Riley during his illness.

Shreveport, La., died Tuesday, May 19, at 1:08 p.m.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Russell; two daughters, Jennifer Braud 
and husband, Kevin, and Jeanette Spangler; one brother, John Davlin; two 
sisters, Janice Holland and husband, Elton, and Jill Carter and husband, 
Thomas; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Davlin; and two brothers, Jerry 
and Bo Davlin.

Arthur Andrews, Sr., 73, a native of New Orleans, La. and resident of Gray, 
La., died Monday, May 18.

He is survived by his companion, Etta Johnson; son, Arthur Andrews, Jr.;

Sheard Joseph Ber, 96, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, 
May 20.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa U. Ber; one son, Sheard A. Ber and wife, 
Debra; five grandchildren, Dr. S. Douglas Ber and wife, Leslie, Bonnie B. Kern 
and husband, Kevin, Monica B. Graves and husband, Ken, Lauren B, Litchfield and 
husband, Michael, and Dr. Benjamin S. Ber; nine great-grandchildren, Austin, 
Bradley, and Kristen Ber, Katie and Natalie Kern, Jordan, Matthew, Jonathan, 
and Micha Graves; and his caregiver, Betty Arcement.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Picou Ber; and his parents, 
Adolph and Louise M. Ber.

He was a plumbing contractor for 40 years and a Thibodaux City Inspector for 33 
years. He was the Outstanding City Employee in 1995 and 1997. He was an 
outstanding member of the Louisiana Gas Association in 1983 and served on the 
City Zoning and Planning Commission. He was also honored with the Outstanding 
Service to the water industry for the South Central Region. He was a member of 
Plumbing and Mechanical Inspectors Association, Southern Building Code 
Association, Louisiana Gas Association, and Southern Plumbing, Heating, and 
Cooling Association.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral 
in Thibodaux, La. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at 
the church cemetery.

She served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Edmond Joseph Breaux, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died May 22.

He is survived by, his wife, Francis Lois Babin Breaux; daughters, Trudy

Michael James Carrere

Michael James Carrere, 43, a native of Houma, La. and resident of Bayou Blue, 
La., passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, May 20.

He is survived by, his beloved wife Brandy Frommeyer Carrere; Loving father of 
his daughters Jamie Beth Carrere and McKenzee Nykole Stoltz and his sons, Kole 
Auston Stoltz, and twins Michael James Carrere, Jr. and Maxx Michael Carrere; 
his parents James and Jerry Carrere; brother, Jimmy Carrere and sister, Susan 
Carrere. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, 
uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mike was a graduate of DeLaSalle High School in New Orleans in 1983. Mike was a 
partner in ownership of the company Tarpon Rental. He will be missed by all who 
knew and loved him.

Memorial Service Mass will be at 10 am, Monday, May 25, at St. Louis Catholic 
Church on Highway 316 in Bayou Blue, La.

Ronald "Ron" Cherry

Ronald "Ron" Cherry, 63, a native of Thibodaux, La. and resident of Hollywood, 
Ca., passed away in his sleep, Monday, May 11.

He is survived by his two brothers, Gregory "Greg" Cherry and wife, Amie, and 
Charles Cherry; one sister, Sherry Ann Cherry; three nieces, Michelle Bergeron 
and husband, Dale Jr., Miranda Cherry and Macie Cherry; two nephews, Ryan 
Cherry and wife, Crystal, and Nicholas Cherry; one great-niece, Allison 
Bergeron; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregory and Francis Giglio Cherry.

The cause of death at this time is unknown.

He worked for the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood and the Preschool 
there as a senior security officer for 21 years. During these years he became a 
part of the church and many school families. He was planning to move back to 
Louisiana after his retirement to meet all his nieces and nephews. Everyone who 
met him, deeply loved him and grew fond of him. He will be truly missed by many 
family members, the children from the preschool, friends and co-workers.

A memorial service has been planned for May 30th at the First Presbyterian 
Church of Hollywood to honor his memory and dedication for keeping the 
children, families and church safe.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Samart Funeral Home in 
Houma, La. with religious services to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph 
Catholic Cemetery in Thibodaux, La. beside his family vault.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eba Pierre LeBlanc Sr. and Laura 
Murphy LeBlanc; two sisters, Miriam Hungerford and Lois Dugas; one grandson, 
Kevin Domingue; and granddaughter, Lauren LeBlanc.

He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, a longtime member 
of the Knights of Columbus, a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, a retired 
draftsman with Texaco, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, square dancing, playing cards, 
and traveling with his wife on bus trips across the country.

Emile served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was a retired welder. He 
loved working in his vegetable garden and enjoyed fishing and trawling. He was 
a past recipient of the Bishop's Medal at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in

Conrad Joseph Stagni, 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died 
peacefully at home in his sleep, Saturday, May 23.

He is survived by three sons, Lee and wife, Kathy, and daughter Melissa of 
Plymouth, Minn., David and his son Sean, Sean's wife, Susan and their son, Jack 
all of Thibodaux, and Kenneth and wife, Marcella of Jacksonville, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Betty Lee Stagni; his 
parents, Antoine and Lena Stagni; one brother, Roland Stagni; and two sisters, 
Ethel and Mildred Stagni.

He was born in Thibodaux, La., graduated from Thibodaux High School and from 
USL in Lafayette, La. He married Betty Lee Beary in 1951 and soon embarked on a 
long career in the accounting field. He was a notary public, and a Certified 
Public Accountant, working until his retirement to care for Betty Lee in her 
battle with diabetes. He will always be remembered as kind, generous and with a 
great sense of humor. He was a devout Catholic and believer of our Lord Savior 
Christ Jesus.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, at St. Joseph Cathedral in 
Thibodaux, La. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Fridaym May 29, at Chauvin Funeral Home with 
Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Louis Catholic 
Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
