Andrew Abel Adams Sr., 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, 
June 17, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 
8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in 
Thibodaux. Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at St. 
Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Thibodaux Adams; two sons, Michael Adams 
and wife, Suzanne, and Andrew Adams Jr. and wife, Deborah; one daughter, 
Christine Adams; two brothers, Melvin and Clarence Adams; three sisters, 
Gertrude A. Boudreaux, Ruby A. Champagne and Lorraine A. Breaux; eight 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Adams and Lelia Barrilleaux 
Adams; one son, Keith Adams; one brother, Eldon Adams; and one sister, Mable A. 
Boudreaux.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
