Glenda Bonvillain Aucoin, 59, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Wednesday, June 2, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at First Assembly of God, 
150 La. 3185, Thibodaux 70301. Mass will be 11 a.m. today at the church, with 
burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by husband, Donald Aucoin Sr.; two sons, Carol Chaisson Jr. and 
wife, Paula, and Brian "Bud" Chiasson and wife, Shelly; two stepsons, Marty P. 
Aucoin Sr. and Donald Aucoin Jr. and wife, Ruth; five grandchildren, Achsah, 
Cole, Damon, Sarah and Shania Chiasson; eight stepgrandchildren, Marty Jr., Joey 
Jr., Cyd, Mitchell, Gabriel, Adrienne Aucoin, Carolyn Phillips and Chad Andras; 
six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald "Black" Bonvillain and Daniel 
"Danny" Bonvillain; and three sisters, Betty Boudreaux, Gale Andras and Debra 
Bourgeois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Lucille LeBoeuf Bonvillain; 
one brother, Thomas "Tommy" Bonvillain; one stepson, Joey P. Aucoin Sr.; and one 
stepdaughter, Donna Lynn Aucoin Ordogne.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 
Foundation. The family would like to extend their thanks to St. Joseph Hospice 
and all the doctors and staff from Thibodaux Regional Medical and Ochsner 
Hosptial.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
