Bethany Handon Babin, 30, a native and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, died at 
4:06 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma and 
from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Charles Catholic Church in Pointe-aux-
Chenes. Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Benji M. Babin; her mother, Theresa Brunet 
Handon; two brothers, Dalton Handon and Johnny Chaisson; and one sister, Violet 
"Pie" Parfait.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elie "Babe" Handon Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses would be appreciated.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
