Melanie Wilson Benoit's spirit winged its flight to heaven on Thursday, June 3, 
2010 at the young age of 33. Melanie was a native and resident of Thibodaux.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 1021 
Canal Blvd, Thibodaux.

She is survived by her husband, Dwayne "Dino" Benoit; her daughter, Brittany 
(age 17); her son, Dylan (age 13); her parents, Bobby C. and June Wilson; her 
brother, Bobby "Andy" Wilson, all of Thibodaux; and her grandmother, Barbara 
Dixon Wilson of Liberty, Miss.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Melanie's 
honor for her two kids that she loved so much to cover college expenses, etc.
