Norris Wayne Berzas, a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Covington the 
passed six years, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 11 
a.m. Saturday at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, La. 
70433. A wake is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday with visiting hours beginning 
9 a.m. Saturday, with interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Roxanne Gautreaux Berzas; his son, John 
Joseph Berzas; his step-daughter, Jamie Lyn Gautreaux; one sister and brother-
in-law, Melvin and Charlotte B. Glass; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, 
nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darius and Celezie Jaunice Berzas, 
and Leroy and Alexie Vidrine Dupuis.

He was born Sept. 5, 1956 to John B. and Neaomi Berzas. He served his country 
for two years as a U.S. Marine and was employed by National Oilwell Varco at the 
time of his death.

E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington is in charge of arrangements.
