Alden "A.J." Bourgeois Sr., 64, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Gray, 
died Friday, June 25, 2010.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux 
and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou 
Blue. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Evelena Schieffler Bourgeois; one son, Alden Joseph 
Bourgeois Jr.; two daughters, Connie Principe and Rebecca Bourgeois; two 
sisters, Clara Leonard and Joyce Carter; 18 grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mason J. Bourgeois and Vivian Boudreaux 
Bourgeois; and one brother, Mason Paul Bourgeois.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
