Sheila Dupre Brunet, 59, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died at 6:35 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
funeral home, with burial in Halfway Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Brunet Jr. of Houma; her mother, Doris 
Bourg Dolese of Houma; two sons, Mark A. Brunet and wife, Janet, of Montegut, 
and Richard P. Brunet of Houma; one brother, Roland J. Dolese Jr. of Houma; one 
sister, Gail Dupre Samanie of Houma; seven grandchildren, Hunter Hewitt, Richard 
Brunet Jr., Carrie Ann Brunet, Fulton Brunet, Charles Couvillier Jr., Angelica 
Couvillier and Alicia Hebert; and seven great-grandchildren, Megan Hebert, Joel 
Hebert, Gema Smith, Omar Smith, Gendia Smith, Chester Smith and Vernon Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Felton Dupre; her stepfather, Roland 
Dolese Sr.; and one son, Felton A. Brunet.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
