Prenella Landry Buggage, 91, a native of St. James and a resident of 
Bertrandville, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Terrebonne General Hospital in 
Houma.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home in Napoleonville and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Benedict 
the Moor Catholic Church in Bertrandville with a rosary at 10 a.m. Mass will be 
11 a.m. Saturday at the church, officiated by the Rev. John Osom, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

She is survived by five daughters, Prenella Julien of Gonzales, Beulah Brown of 
Houma, Gloria Gauthreaux of Donaldsonville, Manuella Buggage of New Orleans, and 
Patricia Ponder of Atlanta; six sons, Leonard Sr., Raphael, and Horace Buggage 
Jr., all of Bertrandville, Harold Sr. and Henry Buggage, both of Belle Rose, and 
Eugene Buggage of Napoleonville; and a host of grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and 
friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Buggage Sr.; her parents, 
Raphael and Aline Lacroix Landry; one son, Norbert Buggage; one grandson, 
Timothy Buggage; two sisters; and one brother.

She was a homemaker.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
