Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her companion, David "Z-Man" Zirlot; one son, Jerry J. Cadiere Jr. and wife, Maronda; three daughters, Tina C. David and husband, Dennis, Heidi L. Cadiere and Laura C. Breaux; two brothers, Albert Trahan and wife, Carolann, Harvey Trahan Jr. and wife, Genny; 16 grandchildren, Alani, Alyssa, Jerry III, Jace Cadiere, Brandon, Kayli, Carli Thibodeaux, Bethani David, Gauge, Remington, Alexis Thomas, Baby Diamon Cadiere, Ciera, Damian Poche', Trent and Gage Hebert; two stepchildren, Terry Landry and Dawn Bourg; and one sister-in-law, Jeanetta Trahan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Cadiere Sr.; her parents, Harvey J. Sr. and Alberta Marie Babin Trahan; two brothers, Gerald and Clayton Trahan; one sister, Yvette T. Gambarella; and her stepmother, Flo LeBeouf. She lost her battle with cancer. She loved Mardi Gras and was known as the Queen of Mardi Gras. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for funeral expenses. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
