Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland. Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial at the Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland. He is survived by five brothers, Lowery Caldwell and wife, Stephanie, and Wilson Garner and wife, Denise, both of Raceland, Carter Caldwell, Wilbert Caldwell and companion, Veronica, Lionel Garner and wife, Pearl, all of Houma; one sister, Mable Caldwell of New Orleans; one aunt; and one uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Sr. and Catherine Caldwell; one brother, Robert Caldwell; two sisters, Sarah Caldwell and Rosetta Caldwell; and his grandmother, Irene Davis. He was Baptist and a U.S. Navy veteran. Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements. ===================
