Claude "Pierre" Danos, 86, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 12:10 p.m. 
Sunday, June 6, 2010.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Albana Martin Danos; two sons, Abraham 
"Abe" Danos and wife, Barbara, and Issac Danos and wife, Karen; two daughters, 
Brunella Summerlin and husband, Gladden, and Gerrilynn Bourgeois and husband, 
Henry; two brothers, Harry Danos and Gerald Danos; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-
grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexie Rousels Danos and Marie Lafont 
Danos; two sons, Jay-Boy Danos and Rickie "Kojak" Danos; and two daughters, 
Delores Danos and Sarah Danos.

He was a World War II Navy veteran.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
