Mass was held 11 a.m. today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by her son, Terry Darcey and wife, Donna Adams Darcey of Houma; two grandchildren, Christopher Adams and wife, Jill Champagne Adams of Raceland, and Christina Darcey of Houma; two great-grandchildren, Jaice Bryan and Mallary Jade Adams of Raceland; one sister, Gloria Jean and husband, Michael Bergeron of Houma; one brother, Leroy Gautreaux and wife, Lamar, of Bayou Blue; and numerous godchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lawrence and Chlotidle Boudreaux Gautreaux of Houma; her beloved husband of 48 years, Joseph Antoine Darcey of Bayou Dularge; two sisters, Betty Triche and Eulah Cadiere of Houma; one brother, Lawrence "Larry" Gautreaux Jr. of Houma; and second husband, Edgar "Doc" Boudloche of Houma. She loved her family, fishing, trawling, cooking, sewing, working outdoors, card games and dancing. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Altar Society and a lector for years. She was also a member of the East Park Volunteer Firemen Ladies Auxiliary and United Veterans League. Special thanks and love to her devoted caregivers; daughter-in-law, Donna Darcey, for years day and night, St. Joseph Hospice nurses, Tierney, Deidre, Eloisie and Brian, and our very good friend Nancy Chapman.
