Willie Mae Pitre Duet, 85, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 6:07 a.m. 
Monday, June 14, 2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

She is survived by three sons, Harold J. Duet, Charles J. Duet and Peter J. 
Duet; three daughters, Sharon D. Cheramie, Shelly Duet and Millie A. Duet; two 
sisters, Evida Dufrene and Nola Bruce; eight grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morrison P. Duet; her parents, Fedless 
and Loridia Doucet Pitre; and two brothers, Jefferson "Jeff" Pitre and Clifton 
Pitre.

She was Catholic.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
