Hazel D. Dupre, 83, a native of Lake Arthur and resident of Theriot, died 
Thursday, June 10, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Chauvin. Mass will be 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

She is survived by two sisters, Fannie Brashear and Alice Bergeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marquis "Shorty" Dupre; parents, 
Martin Duprie and Ida Guidry Duprie; two brothers, Leroy Duprie and Rudolph 
Duprie; and one sister, Leah Simon.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
