Visitation was from 9 to 11:45 a.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. Mass was at noon today at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Mathews, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. He is survived by two sons, Cornel "Chris" Knight and wife, Ann Brunet Knight, and Roy A. Knight and wife, Tanya Hebert Knight; one son-in-law, Sullivan Pierce; six grandchildren, Phoenix Knight, Shawn Pierce, Shannon Pierce, Michael Potter, Christine Potter Murphy and Chelsea Vedros; and 13 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jessi, Seth, Sade, Trason, Josh, Britney, Colleen, Brian, Tayler, Katelyn, Madison and Malorie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Delaune Knight; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abel Knight; one daughter, Gayle Knight Pierce; and two brothers, Ashton Knight and Lester Knight. He was a member of American Legion, VFW, and he was a World War II veteran. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
