Madge Theriot Landry, 81, a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, died at 
7:30 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Eloi Catholic 
Church in Theriot. Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn Landry and wife, Jean, and Mark Landry and 
wife, Angela; six daughters, Donna Fontenot and husband, Charles, Susan Stringer 
and husband, Clarc, JoAnn Landry, Mary Theriot and husband, Marty, Cynthia Picou 
and husband, Jerome, and Ann Plaisance and husband, Peter; five brothers, 
Herbert, Elton, Roy, Patrick and Carroll Theriot; two sisters, Cecile Evans and 
Lydia Champagne; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Esso J. Landry; her parents, John and 
Amay Chauvin Theriot; one son, John Patrick Landry; one grandson, Glenn David 
Landry Jr.; one brother, Clinton Theriot; and one sister, Elsie Edwards.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
