Cora Lawson, 77, a native and resident of Raceland, died Thursday, June 17, 
2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time today at Bell Baptist Church in 
Raceland. Service will be 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Hubert Lawson Jr. and Johnelle Lawson of 
Raceland, and Ronald "Buck" Lawson of Mathews; four daughters, Doris Folse and 
Gilda L. Owens of Thibodaux, and Barbara Harry and Gloria "Black" Lawson of 
Raceland; one brother, Johnny Farlow of Raceland; one sister, Ruth Robinson of 
Thibodaux; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Sr. and Nancy Farlow; three 
brothers, Freddie Farlow Sr., Clarence Farlow Jr. and Joseph Farlow of Raceland; 
and one sister, Olivia "Noe" Thompson.

She was member of Bell Baptist Church.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
