Leroy Lewis, 63, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Gretna, died 
Monday, June 21, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Community Funeral Home Chapel. 
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in 
Halfway Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Sean Jackson Lewis and Maurice Jones; one daughter, 
Kyeke Williams; two brothers, Darryl Lewis and Cleveland "Stopper" Gathen; four 
sisters, Thelma Lewis, Ira'Dean Lewis and husband, Issac Jr. Stewart, Debra 
Lewis, Sadie LaGarde, Charlene Lewis and Stephanie Lewis; and five 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maude Sims Lewis and Alton Lewis Sr.; 
one brother, Alton Lewis Jr.; two sisters, Lillie Mae Pope and Essdie Lewis; and 
his grandparents, Mary Wallace Sims and Issac Sims Sr.

He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and Southern Pacific. He was also an 
Army veteran.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
