Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. A military service will be 10 a.m. at the church with Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Hazel Dupre Lirette; sons, Norris Lirette and wife, Aurolyn K. Lirette, and Tony Lirette and companion, Barbara Bruce; daughters, Walterine L. LeBoeuf, Lois L. Trahan and companion, Jimmy Chauvin, Lucy L. Green and companion, John Hargrove; brother, Conrad Lirette Sr.; daughters-in-law, Deany M. Lirette and Bonnie P. Lirette; 26 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 118 great-great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-great- grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Lirette Sr. and Ida Boudreaux Lirette; children, Clinton "T Boy" Lirette and Roselina Lirette; sons-in-law, Olden "T Ray" LeBoeuf, Louis "Bob" Trahan and Johnny Green; brother, Wilton Lirette; half brothers, Edwin, Albert, Wiley and Walter Lirette; sisters, Beatrice Blanchard and Viola Pellegrin; and half sister, Olivia Hebert.
