Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with interment to follow at the Mennonite Cemetery on Wenger Road in Des Allemands. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to Alfred Richard Luquette; mother of and mother-in-law to Nanette Luquette Dufrene her husband, Rodney P. Dufrene Sr., Lawrence Adam Luquette II and his wife, Rhonda, Cindy Lou Robert and her husband, Kevin, Michael Luquette and his wife, Sherry, Ross Luquette Sr. and his wife, Jennifer, and Daniel Luquette and his wife, Melissa; one sister, Gloria Matherne; and one brother, Douglas Rousseau. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave Rousseau and Josephine Rousseau Rome; one brother, Dudley Rousseau and wife, WillieMae; and her grandson, Rodney P. Dufrene Jr.; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and she also leaves behind her beloved dog, Pepe, who was her constant shadow. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling to Disney World, collecting dolls and cooking for her family for Sunday football games. Her passing leaves a large hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
