Ian Philip Matherne, 35, a native and resident of Larose, died at 5:20 a.m. 
Friday, June 4, 2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at noon Wednesday at the church with 
burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose.

He is survived by his fiancee, Jessica Lasseigne; his parents, John Matherne and 
companion, Jane M. LeBlanc, and Paula S. Matherne; one daughter, Allie Matherne; 
his grandmother, Lucille Matherne; two brothers, Toby Matherne and wife, Stacy, 
and Eric Matherne and companion, Tiffany; his godmother; and five nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vince Matherne, and Mr. and Mrs. 
Milton Schouest Sr.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
