Myrtle Adams Matherne, 82, a native and resident of Larose, died at 11:21 a.m. 
Sunday, June 6, 2010.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to funeral time today at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church. Mass will be 1 p.m. today at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Weldon Matherne; one son, Kent Matherne; one 
daughter, Jennica Matherne Angelette; five grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Louise Adams; and one 
brother, Earl "E.J." Adams.

She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies 
Altar Society.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
