MURRY, ALLEN 

Allen J. "Hawk" Murry, 74, a native of Plaquemine died at 7:26 a.m. Saturday, 
June 26, 2010, at his home in Addis.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time today at Wilbert Funeral Home in 
Plaquemine. Service will be 11 a.m. today at the funeral home conducted by 
Deacon Alfred Ricard, with interment at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 
Cemetery in Brusly.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Laura Mae Tullier Murry of Addis; three 
sons, Daniel Murry and wife, Tara Granger of Plaquemine, Christopher Murry of 
Addis, and Allen Murry Jr. and wife, Dana Causin; one sister, Barbara Murry 
Durham of Plaquemine; two brothers, Charles E. Murry and wife, Debbie Mendoza, 
and Ray Murry, all of Plaquemine; his sister-in-law, Bobbie Hebert Murry of 
Baton Rouge; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Jr. and Victoria Bourgeois Murry; 
one brother, Leo Murry; and one sister, Ruth Murry.

He was a retired employee with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and 
Development.

Wilbert Funeral Service of Plaquemine and Port Allen is in charge of 
arrangements.
