Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. James Baptist Church in Gibson. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Howard Pinkston; three sons, Daniel, Phillip and David Pinkston; three sisters, Claudette Diggs Tyler, Elaine Diggs Washington and Linda Diggs, all of Gibson; and her sister-in-law, Carol Sue Verdin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wellington Diggs and Evelyn Nisby Diggs; one brother, Clarence Lee Diggs; and her grandparents, Wilma and Chestnola Diggs, and Daniel and Lillian Nisby. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church where she served in the Senior Choir. She was a member of The Red Hats Society and Cleopatra Carnival Crew and employed by Gulf Coast Teaching Family Services. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
