PLAISANCE, RAYMOND, SR. 

Raymond Joseph Plaisance Sr., 79, a native and resident of Larose, died 
Saturday, June 12, 2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church in Larose. Mass will be at noon Tuesday at the church, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Cantrelle Plaisance; one son, Raymond Joseph 
Plaisance Jr.; four daughters, Trudy P. Lopez and husband, Pete, Julie P. 
Williams and husband, Coy, Jennifer P. Lindner and husband, Dennis, and Patty P. 
Lebeouf and husband, Dwight; two brothers, Nolan and Elton Plaisance; one 
sister, Evolia P. Curole; five grandchildren, Paul Rousse Jr., Courtney D. 
Dufresne, Leah L. Callais, Trista Lebeouf and Raymond Plaisance III; and one 
great-grandson, Heath Callais.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anacelet and Marie Griffin Plaisance; 
one daughter, Charlene Plaisance; and two brothers, Ernest and Forrest 
Plaisance.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and 
hard work.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
