Eula Breaux Pontiff, 76, a native and resident of upper Bayou Blue, died 
Tuesday, May 25, 2010.

A fellowship and reminisce gathering will be held at 1 p.m. followed by a 
service on Saturday at Bayou Blue Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Rodney P. Pontiff; one son, Brian M. 
Pontiff and wife, Rita of upper Bayou Blue; two daughters, Cheryl P. Robichaux 
and husband, Sid Robichaux of Lafayette, and Elise "Liz" P. Scott of upper Bayou 
Blue; three stepsisters, Carita Breaux of Metairie, Marlene Breaux Guilliot of 
Westwego and Mona Fay Breaux Meyers of Westwego; six grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcide Joseph Breaux and Vivian 
Robinson Breaux; one sister, Emma Breaux Voclain and husband, Thaddios; one 
brother, Earl J. Breaux; her stepfather, Olay Breaux; and one stepbrother, 
Gerold "Jerry" Breaux.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help needy senior citizens with their groceries 
or electric bill preferred.
