Nellie Singleton, 88, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
Tuesday, June 1, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at New Zion Baptist Church. 
Service will be 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her companion, Willie Willis; one daughter, Anita Courtney; 
four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Frank Singleton and Olivia 
Singleton; one son, Wilbert Williams; four brothers, Frank Singleton Jr., 
Roosevelt Singleton, George Singleton and Sylvester Singleton; and one sister, 
Elnora Singleton.

She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
