Mabel B. Toups, 92, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 5:03 a.m. Monday, 
June 14, 2010.

Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with 
burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Lois T. Crosby and husband, Larry; one brother, 
Hilton Bouffanie; one sister, Justilia Curole; three grandchildren, Marla T. 
Saia, Sheila T. Wightman and Vhores Trosclair III; five great-grandchildren; and 
five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Octave Toups; her parents, Francis 
Bouffanie Sr. and Ceres D. Bouffanie; one son, Johnny J. Toups; one son in law, 
Vhores Trosclair Jr.; three brothers, Ivan, Francis Jr. and Noles Bouffanie; and 
one sister, Ezola Thibodeaux.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
