Mary Virginia Hunter Tyler, 88, a former resident of Golden Meadow, died 
Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Lafayette.

A memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to mass time Saturday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

She was the mother of Conrell John Tyler Jr., the late Michael Tyler and Wayne 
Tyler; grandmother to nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Instrumental in the incorporation of the town of Golden Meadow where she worked 
as town clerk for many years.
