Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.1. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Scott Waldrip Sr. of Houma; two sons, Thomas Scott Waldrip Jr. and wife, Christine Pellegrin Waldrip of Houma, and Tim Waldrip and wife, Brenda Bell Waldrip of Madisonville, Texas; one daughter, Sheri Waldrip Smith and husband, Kenneth Smith of Houma; her grandchildren, Angelle Smith, Jennifer Smith, Caley Smith, Sara Smith and Mark Waldrip. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Dagate and Victoria Callia Dagate; and three brothers, Vincent Dagate Sr, Alex Dagate and Anthony "A.J." Dagate. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was president of the Saint Joseph's Italian Society and also past President and Queen of the Krewe of Hyacinthians. She was also a member of the Kaycee Ladies Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saint Joseph's Italian Society, P.O. Box 3187, Houma, LA 70361.
