Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Thompson Wallace; his parents, Gustave John Theriot and Edith Bell Theriot; five stepchildren, Christopher Childress, Courtney and husband, Keith Hernandez, Eddie Childress, Chad Childress and Chelcee Childress; three sisters, Barbara Sue Williams, Edith Marie Wallace, and Brenda Kay Gautreaux and husband, Joey; one brother, Thomas L. Wallace Jr. and wife, Kathy; three grandchildren, Noah Zeth Hernandez, Jazlynn Nicole Childress and Jordynn Kay Childress; his nieces and nephews, Thomas and Jenny, Nick and Siera, Casey and Elliot, Kristen, Kara, Christopher and Elizabeth; two godchildren, Anthony and Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Wallace Sr.; one brother, Larry Wayne Wallace; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his brother-in-law, Snookie Solet; and one nephew, Christopher Solet. He was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church and loved gardening and caring for his cats. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
